Skin Rejuvenation with FotoFacial
Skin rejuvenation treatments with new technology safely and comfortably fade the appearance of skin imperfections caused by the sun and uneven skin tones caused by brown and red spots such as rosacea, age spots and spider veins.
If you're considering Photo Facial Rejuvenation...
As we age, the visible signs of sun damage, lifestyle choices, and the natural aging process will appear in our complexion. This aged look may include; freckles, rosacea or persistent redness, wrinkles, broken capillaries, dark spots, blotchy skin color, enlarged pore size or uneven pigmentation.
Photo Facial Rejuvenation is the only non-invasive procedure that can treat the above-mentioned imperfections while encouraging the production of collagen, all in the same treatment. With the use of AFT ® Pulsed Light Technology, dramatic improvements can be accomplished with minimal discomfort.
Photo Facial Rejuvenation is an Intense Pulsed Light treatment that can be delivered in a single or series of sessions.
The light is gently pulsed over the treatment area and is absorbed by either the color of superficial pigmented lesions, or the color in the unwanted blood vessels. Lesions such as age spots will darken immediately and then fade/disappear within 10-14 days. Broken capillaries often show an immediate response. If not, they will also fade over 10-14 days. An exciting feature about Photo-Facial Rejuvenation is that there is little or no downtime.
Prior to treatments, it is important to avoid direct sun exposure, self tanning creams and the use of tanning beds, as freshly tanned skin increases the risk of complications. To ensure your treatments are both safe and effective, we recommend that all patients include a sunscreen, minimum SPF 30, in their daily regime.
Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in the selection of a product with UVA & UVB protection that is best suited to your skin.
Is skin rejuvenation right for me?
FotoFacial skin rejuvenation can safely be done on most skin types.
How does skin rejuvenation work?
A combination of bipolar radiofrequency and light energy precisely and safely targets pigmented lesions. The total number of treatment sessions depends on your skin’s condition. Schedule a consultation to establish your treatment schedule.
Is there any downtime with this procedure?
This procedure is truly a no-downtime procedure. You may experience some slight redness right after the procedure that will fade in a few hours and can easily be covered with makeup. Dark-brown spots may become darker after treatment for a few days and then will gradually flake off and fade with each treatment.
