
Kathy Hayes – Registered Nurse / Office Manager
In over 30 years as a registered nurse, Kathy has worked in a wide variety of medical settings. Early in her career at Stanford University Medical Center, she worked in the emergency room and on the head and neck cancer team.
After moving to Montana in 1986 she was a consultant for the Northwest Organ Procurement Agency and joined the Missoula County Health Department as a disease intervention specialist focusing on HIV/AIDS.
Kathy was a founding member of the Missoula AIDS Council, helping to create many of their programs including counseling, testing, and needle exchange. She also helped provide medical care for people with HIV.
In 2005, Kathy and her husband, Dr. David Hayes, opened Montana Center for Facial Plastic Surgery where she is the CFO and practice manager. She enjoys working with her staff to provide the best possible experience for patients looking for facial rejuvenation.
In her free time Kathy likes to bike, ski, and hike, and she is an avid tennis player. She loves to travel, but most of all likes spending time with her three daughters, son-in-law, two beautiful granddaughters and one grandson.
Matty Hancock – Reception / Patient Care
Matty grew up in Michigan and moved to Missoula in the late '90s to obtain a degree in dance choreography and performance. He then ventured to NYC to pursue his dream of dance but found that he missed the magic of Montana and moved "home" in 2004.
Matty worked in various customer service positions before joining our team in 2011. He has been the face of our practice ever since. Whether it's scheduling a procedure, a question about skincare or a quick make-up consultation he is your guy.
Matty feels the close knit environment of Montana Center as well as the connections that he has built with our patients the most satisfying part of his job.
He enjoys spending time with his puppies, rummaging the racks of thrift stores and playing volleyball.
Molly Mahler – Registered Nurse
Molly graduated from Montana State University with her bachelor of science in nursing in 2005 and worked at Bozeman Deaconess in both medical-surgical and the operating room. She moved back to Missoula and joined the team at Montana Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in May 2010.
Molly works in many capacities at Montana Center for Facial Plastic Surgery. Her main role is circulating RN in the operating room, monitoring patients and administering anesthesia. Other duties include assisting Dr. Hayes in the clinic, helping with administrative tasks, and overall patient care. She finds great fulfillment in working with each of our patients and building long-term relationships.
In her free time, Molly enjoys traveling, and spending time with her husband Peter, their three kids Finley, Parker and Brooks, and all their various animals.
Lexie Kesler - Registered Nurse
Lexie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University in 2013. After graduation, she began her nursing career in the Emergency Department at St. Vincent Healthcare in her hometown of Billings. While she enjoyed being close to home, Lexie always knew she wanted to return to Missoula.Â
In 2017, she made the move back and accepted a position at Big Sky Surgery Center, working in both the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and the Operating Room. During her time there, Lexie had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Hayes. When a position opened at his clinic, she recognized it as a rare and exciting opportunity and was eager to join his team.Â
Lexie became part of Dr. Hayes' team at MCFPS in 2022. Her responsibilities include patient consultations, Botox injections, laser therapy, assisting Dr. Hayes with minor procedures, and circulating in the operating room. For Lexie, the highlight of working at MCFPS is being part of a dedicated and supportive team and forming meaningful connections with patients.Â
Outside of work, Lexie enjoys traveling and a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, skiing, and spending time at the lake with her husband, Scott, their son, Cooper, and their dog, Harlee.Â
Mijah McLeod - Registered Nurse
Mijah is a registered nurse and is currently in a Doctor of Nursing program. Mijah has always had a passion for the aesthetic industry and continues to further her education by taking ongoing trainings for neurotoxins, fillers, Sculptra and more. Mijah assists Dr Hayes in patient consultations and office procedures as well as circulating in the operating room. Mijah values the beauty of aging, change, diversity and self-expression and hopes to bring this approach to her practice.Â
In her rare free time Mijah coaches track, enjoys Pilates and Hiking and she loves a good podcast!Â
Misty Broughton - Certified Surgical First Assistant
Obtaining her surgical certification at only 19 years old, Misty has decades of operating room experience across a broad range of surgical specialties, but cosmetic facial surgery remains her favorite. She assists Dr. Hayes in surgery and clinical settings, while providing patient care and consulting, during which she loves getting to know our patients, understanding their concerns, and helping them regain confidence, to feel and look amazing! Misty considers herself blessed to work with such a wonderful team and in the field she truly loves!
Born and raised in Kentucky, Misty has called Montana home for the past 18 years. Misty met her husband Kevin within weeks of moving to Montana, and together they have raised two smart, beautiful teenage daughters, Addy and Kate and added a new member to the family, a goldendoodle puppy, Cooper. They love spending their free time together and with family and friends, whether it be traveling or enjoying our beautiful state, always making new memories!

Kestin has been a licensed Medical Aesthetician for the past 6 years. She has a deep passion for skincare that comes from personal experience. Her journey into aesthetics began with her own struggles with acne-an experience that taught her not only the physical challenges, but the emotional impact skin issues can have. That journey inspired her to turn her pain into purpose by helping others feel confident in their skin.
Kestin specializes in results-driven treatments like medical-grade facials, chemical peels, microneedling, laser therapy, and acne management. She takes a compassionate, client-centered approach, creating customized plans tailored to each person's unique skin needs and goals.

Whitney Rauthe - Medical Esthetician
Whitney has been a licensed esthetician in Montana since 2021 and empowers individuals to achieve their healthiest, most radiant skin. Whitney specializes in a wide range of skin treatments that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client. She is always continuing her education to stay up-to-date on the latest in skincare technology and techniques.Â
From facials and peels to laser treatments, Whitney is well-versed in a variety of skin care techniques that can help address a range of concerns including acne, aging skin, and hyperpigmentation.Â
Whitney loves creating a warm and welcoming environment for each and every client and one of her favorite parts about her job is building and maintaining relationships with everyone that walks through her door.Â
A Missoula Native, Whitney loves spending time outdoors with her husband and family members. In the summer when she isn't working, you are guaranteed to find her up at Flathead Lake or on a run in the mountains or along the rivers.
